I'm such a bad mom. I hated sleepovers. When my kids begged for sleepovers, I'd say, "I don't understand why you can't just play together all day, and then go to your own houses to sleep, then get up and play the whole next day." They just looked at me. Apparently, I'm clueless.

We have a wall like that at my mum and dad's house. They have lived there 32 years now so it has me from age 9, brother from age 6 and baby brother from birth, plus the three grandchildren so far - I love looking and seeing that my son is an inch ahead of my brother at the same age, or (sniff) that my daughter is a centimetre ahead of me.

If mum and dad ever move we will have to record the whole wall in multiple pictures first.

I love this! I see that those tall boys surpassed the person known on the growth chart as "Dad" quite a while ago. What were they fed?

We had something like this in our basement when I was growing up. We haven't done it at our house, though, and I wish we had. We only have one boy, though, who has surpassed his Dad by a few inches. Our girls are usually referred to by their peers as "fun-sized."

That bathroom is fabulous! We have a bathroom that desperately needs a make-over, especially because it's frozen in time, in the middle of one.

When I was a kid, and I would say "Let's change (clean, build, verb of choice) . . . ", my mom called it a "Let's job". The kids would say "let's", but my mom always had to do the work :-)
