Silly Haiku Wednesday

Join the fun!

Jenn's theme this week is LIGHT.

My tall boy needs no
step ladder or chair to change
a light bulb. He's tall.

I woke up -- the light
outside seemed different. "Get
up! We've overslept!!"

Thy word is a lamp
unto my feet, and thus a
light unto my path.

  5. LOL! Your first one is GREAT - and I love the picture with it too! The last one is a favorite verse of mine as well... not sure it qualifies as an "original" haiku - but it's a good one!

  6. Please, may I borrow your tall ... I mean, your boy? I have shelves I cannot reach.

And that last Haiku is my favorite. I think you may like mine, as well.

Always a delight to see what you've come up with each week. I do believe we've tapped into a haiku vein here ;)

  12. My son is 6'3 and 1/2". The first time I saw him reach up and touch the living room ceiling, I said "With God as my witness, I shall never stand on a chair again!"
