Snapshot: then and now

Way back on Wednesday, you may recall I was telling you about the lovely, lovely snow, and how much we revel in it, during the few snowfalls we are lucky enough to experience. This was a picture I posted, showing you how prettily the snow lay on our juniper bush in the front yard.

Here's the juniper bush after yesterday's action. Yes, I still think it's lovely -- if a bit more stark.

  1. Our grass and shrubs are almost completely snowless today, but there is talk of 6-10 inches later in the week. I hope they're wrong!!

  3. Ours finally melted off - and I was even able to do some "spring" clean up in our backyard yesterday. We may have more snow tomorrow though! I'm so ready for spring and gardening and flowers and grilling and ...

Ok, pour a glass of wine and enjoy your snow, Liz! xo

  6. Okay, I'm trying to comment using a different browser. Hope this works.
As much as I love snow, I'm actually getting a little tired to all this ... or maybe it's just that the federal gov't was closed today; therefore, this marks the 4th day in a row that I've been bonding with my family (and that's the entire family --- iykwim). And it's not over yet.

Yippy! Then I freaked out when I saw my name. I didn't even know I had a blog profile --- go figure. So I changed it. Hope this works!

  9. I'm just a little north of you here in Southern PA, and we're getting our second big snowstorm of the week! It sure does look beautiful coming down and resting on the trees, doesn't it?

I really love your pics, just became a follower!

  11. Jealous.

I'll keep wishing that one day I can witness a snowy winter. Until that day the dry and windy cold winter of Australia will have to do.
