Silly Haiku Wednesday

It's Wednesday -- and that means another haiku poetry slam. Jenn's theme this week is TIME.

I feel like the White
Rabbit -- always hurrying.
Yes -- and always late.

Look at all of us!
We were younger and smaller --
But time marches on.

Time is the item
more precious than gold to me --
I always need more!

Visit Jenn at You Know . . . That Blog?, for more of the slammin'-est haiku on the information roller coaster!

Join the fun!

  1. Isn't it weird that people tell us to "make" time? As though it's made of something.

I hope you find a place in time to stop and rest now and then. :)

  2. Very true - especially that last one! You're singing my song, sister!

    Great haikus!

  3. I love the hourglass,
i might have focused on that...
yes putting nothing on the schedule is a good thing.

  4. Great haiku! I loved the White Rabbit and the "younger and smaller". :)

  5. I'm the White Rabbit too for sure! I agree with your last Haiku as well, we really should appreciate the time we have - it is so precious.

  6. I was going to leave you a comment in Haiku form, but I think I broke my Haiku-er on 5th Sister's blog this morning!!!

  7. Those are great...all of them give me something to think about.

  8. Your haiku speaks for us all at one point or another in "time" I really enjoyed reading it.

  9. I don't know why the idea of writing Haiku makes me feel so stressed, but I adore reading it. Hmmmm. Glad I came by today:) Holly at
